We are in the process of establishing an intercultural, international, interdisciplinary school, for architecture, design and vocational training. The education model facilitates interdependent learning, between the different branches, under one umbrella.
The building reflects the same attitude. Several platforms at different levels, connected through various staircases of varying hierarchy, under one large roof structure. The concept allows us to build in stages, as the school grows. There is an overlapping of the grid of the roof structure, to the internal grid. The classrooms are created as movable furniture elements whose walls can be manipulated based on the need. The main access corridor runs throughout the building. The façade consists of a double skin, allowing the users to control the light and ventilation. We are currently in the process of finding a suitable investor who shares the same passion and outlook on such an education.
