Manor Grosshoechstetten, Switzerland

Two apartments were combined together into a single unit and redesigned at a 1910 manor. The ground floor with kitchen, dining and living room, as well as the wardrobe were designed to be open, transparent and inviting. The opening of several sliding doors in the foyer allowed a visual connection and natural lighting of the spaces. The vibrant usage of colors was evident in this project. The kitchen and the wardrobes were painted black. The entrance, designed as a box, was red. The white walls and the ceilings allowed the antique, valuable flooring to flow through the rooms to fully stand out. The upper floor offered retreats divided into study, bedroom and bathroom areas. Each architectural intervention was tailored precisely to the user’s needs.
