30 October 14 | Publication in:ch studio 2014 | We are delighted to announce our publication of the documentation of the IN:CH studio 2014 in collaboration with Bern University of Applied Sciences. The studio was designed around the topic, ÔUrban SubcultureÕ in the Indian context, to understand how India treats the marginalized groups. The students from Switzerland, Spain and India analyzed hoe people from deprived live, work and sustain. The studio format is designed around three Indian cities, Ahmedabad Ð Mumbai- Bangalore. IN:CH studio requires dedicated engagement from the students, coaches and the IN:CH team. Each year the quality and the topic addressed is crucial, the results of the 2014 studio has surpassed our expectations. Students design and build with people from marginalized communities. Understanding the needs of the community, engaging them and building for them and with them was the focus of studio. Interventions through architectural and planning measures to address social problems in an Indian context, though challenging for foreign students, was executed with our team of excellent coaches and partners.
