Anu Business Unit aims to empower the marginalized poor women to earn a livelihood by learning and using a certain skill. Groups of eleven women who run this business unit, reuse the waste tetra packs and cement bags to make the varied set of products.
The studio in Bangalore aims to create a method where the ladies break into the market and earn more money. One way is for people to become more aware of the different ways to reuse waste and how to implement the same in their own household. The intervention can help the women in reaching out to more people within the city of Bangalore and eventually to other cities as well.
