A bamboo workshop based on intercultural and peer learning, dialogues and discussions between Indian, Swiss and international students created a combination of competences. Student worked and lived together during this 18-day workshop. The experiences in culture, architecture and construction as well as observing atmospheres is an important part of the learning process.
Experts from India and Switzerland guide the students as they explore material properties of bamboo to create a functional building, now used as an accommodation for disabled people and volunteers in Sristi village foundation.
HSLU Lucerne Switzerland was the participating school in the workshop.
