IN:CH had organized a customized summer school specifically for the institutions University of Applied Sciences Konstanz Germany and Cidade Sao Paulo Brazil.
The journey was planned across India, starting from Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and the final destination being Bangalore. To truly understand the character, mindset, and atmosphere of each place rather than having a tour guide, the programme was designed to have a cultural exchange between students from the local institutions and the foreign students. This interaction enabled a mutual exchange of information wherein the foreign students coming from various countries present about their respective cities, architecture, and culture, to the local students and vice versa. The Indian partner institutions involved in this exchange were- Chandigarh College of Architecture in Chandigarh, Pearl University in Jaipur, Nirma University in Ahmedabad and CMR University in Bangalore.
The summer school was divided into two parts- one where students spent time gathering experiences during the study trip and the second part where they applied this knowledge in a hands-on workshop.
